What’s involved?

· Our colleagues in the West Yorkshire AHP Faculty have created an engaging virtual work experience programme to explore careers within the Allied Health Professions (AHP). The main programme consists of eight sessions covering all 14 different professions with the option of undertaking separate sessions looking in more detail at Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Dietetics and Operating Department Practice.

How does it work?

· Virtual work experience opportunity: The general programme consists of a live online launch and closing Q&A session hosted by programme leads and a panel of representatives across all Allied Health Professions. Between these two sessions, you will be allocated a seven-week period to complete includes six individual online modules in your own time and at your own pace, each taking about an hour.

· Flexible and accessible: Access the programme on your phone, tablet, laptop, or computer.

· Free and convenient: Access it anywhere, anytime—it’s completely free.

Why should you complete this programme?

· Boost your CV: Receive a certificate upon completion, enhancing your CV and making a strong impression in interviews, personal statements and university applications.

· Learn at your own pace: Enjoy flexible learning that fits your schedule.

· Gain valuable experience: Expand your knowledge and gain practical insights—a useful and easily accessible alternative to in-person experience.
