Continuing to rank as one of the top sixth forms in the country, Sir Isaac Newton Sixth Form celebrates another year of triumphant A-Level results with 40% of all grades from this year's A-Levels being an A or A* with one of the sixth form’s students achieving the highest grade in the entire country for Further Maths. 

These results are even more impressive when considering that this extremely high number of A-A*s were achieved in maths and science subjects, cementing Sir Isaac Newton Sixth Form’s place as one of the top A-Level providers in the country.  

85% of all A-Level grades at Sir Isaac Newton were A*-C – again extremely impressive when nationally, there has been a fall in these figures.  

This year Sir Isaac Newton Sixth Form is sending 15 pupils off to Oxbridge, Medicine, and Veterinary Schools. Excited for the future, students now have a choice of where to go next, with many opportunities available to them.

Adam Watney, Year 13 student at Sir Isaac Newton Sixth Form said: 

 

“I am so pleased I chose Sir Isaac Newton, I chose to go here as it was ranked highly in the area and is a maths specialist school. I have been accepted into Cambridge to study Maths am and excited for my next steps. A special thanks to Dr Burge who has been a massive help and support to me over my time at sixth form.” 

Troy Reynold, Year 13 student at Sir Isaac Newton Sixth Form said: 

 

“I am exceptionally happy to have achieved more than I thought was even possible! I don’t think I would have been as successful if I hadn’t studied at Sir Isaac Newton, the support and specific teachers here really made the difference for me.” 

The pioneering maths and science sixth form sees exceptional results year on year and 2023 is no exception. Across a range of subjects there were incredible numbers of A*-A grades including Maths at 51% and Further Maths with an amazing 70% A*-A results.
